MAASIM, Sarangani (August 24, 2008) – Governor Migs Dominguez directs government relief workers Sunday, August 24, to ensure that food and medical needs of evacuees are met as donors pour in food supplies for more than a thousand internally displaced persons. Evacuations were triggered by the August 18 attack of a band of Moro Islamic Liberation Front that killed two innocent civilians and ransacked the public market.
